DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DESIGN

We are looking for a highly creative Director of Product Design that is looking to work in deeply customazible field; capable of both hands-on and CAD / prototyping; as well as product strategy within the architectural interiors industries. This is a high growth opportunity with a rapidly expanding, dynamic organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Conceptual and detailed skills with a passion for object and system product designs.
  • Background in either/all acoustics, wall & ceiling applications, space division, furniture, or lighting.
  • Proficient CAD experience in Solidworks and/or Rhino.
  • Understanding of New Product Development Process and Design for Manufacturing.
  • Experience working in a CAD driven manufacturing environment.
  • Working in a team collaboration environment as a lead for designers and working hand in hand with operations and marketing.
  • Able to analyze competitor and industry products to determine future standard product designs.
  • Able to work with inside sales team and engineering to execute architectural concept designs into finished manufactured, installable systems products.
  • Blended background and proficiency in Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, and Architectural Products.
  • Good communicator of ideas, design intent, and product presentation.
  • Superb 3D spatial ability and reasoning.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 12 years of design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineerin
  • Must speak and write English proficiently. Other languages helpful.

SENIOR SALES LEADER

The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue nationally. Primarily, this revenue is driven through independent rep organizations, meaning that education and motivation of the rep organizations is a key part of the role. Frasch is a quickly growing organization with many custom solutions and new products in development, so coordination with other members of the management team in all areas overlapping with the Sales Department will be necessary to facilitate unified and effective performance.  This is a high growth opportunity with a rapidly expanding, dynamic organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and select independent representatives and rep organizations across United States in areas with limited or no coverage currently
  • Continually evaluate and improve existing representation nationally as company grows
  • Direct the Sales Team to identify and establish priorities as well as plan for future sales structure and strategy requirements as revenue increases
  • Ensure customer needs are recognized, addressed, and met to promote Frasch standards of excellence and facilitate the closing of projects.
  • Review “Profit and Loss” statements with the Founders to assure proper Pricing.
  • Ensure timely response to customer requests both internally and from independent representatives.
  • Coordinate client support from all departments including engineering technical advice and information; production, accounting, and project delivery requirements.
  • Coordinates with Executive staff reviewing results of marketing programs in place to determine the effectiveness and to determine future marketing efforts.
  • Researches new markets to coordinate the focus and implementation of new products for both commercial and aquarium applications.
  • Bring all ideas/leads to the Executive staff for direction whether to pursue the ideas/leads
  • Close contracts by negotiating contract terms, contract issuance dates and down payment requirements and all associated correspondence relating to the closing of projects.
  • Provide daily project support by directing the letters, e-mails, and promoting the activities of all departments to ensure proper and timely customer support and to resolve issues.
  • Selection and coordination of the representation for the company in Trade Shows by selecting the proper personnel to attend and attending in person when necessary.
  • Continually evaluates each member and group that comprises Sales Team based on policy and procedures, professionalism, and sales effectiveness to facilitate better performance through accolades, critiques, training, and direction.
  • Review specifications, shop drawings, contracts, purchase orders, drawings, proposals, and other essential documentation to successfully close projects and conduct business with Architects, Government Agencies, General and Sub Contractors, Vendors, Consultants, and the general public
